The Energy Assistance Program (EAP) can help you pay your heat and electric bills! EAP provides a one-time annual benefit that can assist you with the high cost of home energy and can help if you are disconnected or are about to get disconnected . An EAP benefit will not cover all your annual heating and electric costs, so you should continue to pay your bills regularly. These benefits are paid directly to the utility vendor to help cover your heating and electric costs. If your utilities are included in rent, you may still qualify for EAP. Deadline to apply is April 14th. Please visit here for details: https://ow.ly/h1kK50VcTaC

The CreatINg Places program, offered by the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA) in partnership with Patronicity, provides matching funds for community-driven placemaking projects. This “crowdgranting” model allows communities to raise funds through online donations, which IHCDA then matches—doubling the impact of local fundraising efforts. Eligible projects include streetscape improvements, public plazas, parks, trails, playgrounds, community markets, and more. Local governments and nonprofits can apply, and projects must have a minimum budget of $10,000. IHCDA will match funds raised on Patronicity dollar-for-dollar, up to $50,000. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but campaigns should be planned at least two months in advance. https://ow.ly/g67z50Vf0me
