Meeting member needs can be a challenge for utility providers, even in the best of times. With such a variance in members across their territory, Trico Electric Cooperative needed to provide a variety of programs and services that can be customized to meet a diverse population, regardless of where they live in the service territory. More importantly, Trico needed to be able to let the customers know about the specific programs that fit not only their geographic area, but their interests as well. Hear how Trico leveraged NISC’s Marketing solution, along with customer engagement tools like Consumer Analytics – Powered by Bidgely, SmartHub and Multi-Channel Messenger (Messenger), to create custom campaigns targeted specifically for each program, notifying only those members that are most likely to take advantage of them. https://lnkd.in/gKZr7Y_e

We are grateful to have Jake on our team!

Member Spotlight Name: Jake Adducci Place of Employment: National Information Solutions Cooperative (NISC) Job Title: Programming Team Lead Month/Year You Started with Company: 04/09/2014 Hometown: Bismarck, ND Why do you feel it is important to be part of the YP Network? YP Network is an important part of our community that serves as a way for young people to connect with other like-minded professionals. It can be difficult getting connected with others when you’re fresh out of college or moving to Bismarck/Mandan from somewhere else. The YP Network gives you that opportunity to meet new people and have fun at the same time. How do you spend your free time? Being born and raised in ND, I love hunting and fishing. When I’m not running around outside, I’m usually spending too much time playing video games. I like to learn new technologies when I can, and if that happens to coincide with video games, that’s even better! What professional advice do you have for other young professionals? Never stop learning. With how much our world relies on technology, it’s important to continuously expand your knowledge and skill sets. Whether it’s formal education, workshops, online courses, or mentorships, always look for opportunities to grow. Accept challenges and use them as learning experiences. Look for new experiences. We are all here to step out of our comfort zone and try something new. Interacting with others will give you valuable insights and help broaden your perspective. Embrace failure. Failure is natural when learning. Do not turn away from your failures and instead use that knowledge for future adaptability. Failures give you feedback for ways you can continue to improve yourself. Check out the Failing Successfully event at YP! Hunger for feedback and mentorship. Ask colleagues and coworkers for feedback. If there is someone at your workplace that you can go to for guidance, reach out to them to be a mentor. A mentor in your same profession can offer advice for specific scenarios you are dealing with, while mentors outside your profession can give you a fresh perspective you might not have considered. Build on relationships. Networking provides valuable opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and future career advancements. Organizations, such as YP Network, are a great way to meet new people and find new ways to plug into the community. Stay curious and adapt. A mindset that keeps you curious about “why” will help you remain open to new ideas and be willing to dig deeper. Knowing “why” is crucial to understanding your “what” and “how” in your business. Your “why” will be the key to your long-term success. (Start with Why by Simon Sinek) Thank you Jake for being part of the Bismarck-Mandan Young Professionals Network! If you want to be the next member spotlight, email marketing@ypnetwork.com!
