  • New Milestone for New Mexico's Community Solar Program!   The New Mexico Public Regulation Commission has taken a significant step to boost renewable energy efforts across the state by raising the annual capacity cap for the Community Solar Program from 200 MW to 300 MW, starting November 1st.   This increase not only aims to meet the growing demand for renewable energy in our communities but also addresses disparities in access to clean energy. We're dedicated to fostering a greener future and expanding solar access for all New Mexicans.   The Community Solar Act initially set a capacity of 200 MW, allocated to PNM, SPS, and EPE. With the new cap, we’re ensuring New Mexico has the opportunity to grow its solar capacity further.   Together, we’re paving the way for a more sustainable and equitable energy landscape.   Press Release link: https://lnkd.in/geY6-hnW
