What a fantastic day at the Awe and then Some Forum with Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority! The event united travel, tourism, business and marketing experts from the area to explore new strategies and innovations. Noble's CEO Jarrod Lopiccolo was stoked to talk about something our team is so passionate about: responsible tourism. His talk reinforced the need for destinations to see the growing importance of sustainable travel for the good of a destination long term and also to meet the expectations and decision-making patterns of up-and-coming travelers. This included a review of Visit Lake Tahoe's Rules to Lake By, which is LTVA and Noble's collaborative response to this shift in destination stewardship. Other speakers included the Visit Lake Tahoe team (Stuart, Ann, Sue, Juraj, etc), Jenn Boyd Lemming from Weidinger PR and Carl Ribaudo from SMG Consulting. Carl's talk on adaptation and the importance of stakeholder collaboration were pivotal points for the day that focused on the community and the destination. As always, we love the time to make meaningful connections with both community stakeholders and industry peers over insightful presentations.
