When I was at a bar this past weekend, someone asked me “What the hell do you do all week?” Honestly, great question, but sadly, in this job, no two weeks are the same. Take last week for example: I flew to Austin for SXSW to film content at the NOBULL activation. I spent five hours at the booth filming content, interacting with people as they came to the booth (and giving away free shoes), taking photos with followers, and chatting about collaboration ideas with the NOBULL team. I also snagged this pic from the professional photographer who was on-site, which I thought was a cool picture (beside the point). The content I posted promoting the shoes & the activation was seen by half a million people across channels (I’ll link the post in the comments). I often lose sight of the numbers in this world, and forget the gravity of 500,000 people watching something I create. This week, I’m back in San Francisco interviewing to hire our third employee at Corporate Natalie, LLC, and recording an Demoted Podcast episode with a Hollywood Showrunner, and taking initial client meetings for my Virtual Assistant company, ExpandVA. While a lot of this might not seem like “work” to a lot of people, it is for me.
