About us
Through our collaboration of public partners in Larimer and Weld counties, NoCo Inspire makes it easier for businesses to connect with the local workforce. NOCO INSPIRE GOALS Interact and Inspire! The Talent 2.0 team was assembled to address the challenges of workforce development and accessibility to workplaces faced by the Fort Collins-Loveland MSA. The team published a talent plan that identifies the following goals: IMPROVE ALIGNMENT Align education and workforce resources more closely with the business community and the local talent pool. BUSINESS ENGAGEMENT Streamline business engagement and input mechanisms. EDUCATION & TRAINING CAPACITY Support education and training institutions in strengthening the “home grown” talent pipeline. Currently, employers forge relationships with many different institutions, programs, and individual instructors to provide them with feedback on the skill sets they need and the quality of education/training programs. In addition, education and workforce training programs often have separate business advisory councils or other such input mechanisms. This structure means that employers must provide the same input over and over again, which can be very time consuming. As a result, employers often only selectively engage or do not engage at the level that education and training institutions need. At the same time, employers are very interested in expanding their engagement directly with students, to build relationships with potential employees and to help improve their career-readiness. NoCo Inspire is a tool that will work to streamline this process for employers in Northern Colorado.

Recruit from a guaranteed talent pool! Youth bring energy and meaningful skills to a business. Connect to create your opportunity and get an extra set of hands to work on projects and contribute to your team! #internships #workbasedlearning
🌟 Exciting News from Roosevelt High School! 🌟 We're proud to recognize Equipment Trucks Inc. (ETI) for their outstanding support of our Work-Based Learning (WBL) program. Their dedication to training and guiding students is truly inspiring! A special shoutout to Richard Boresen, a senior at Roosevelt High, who has been interning with ETI for the past year and a half. Richard has gained invaluable hands-on experience in shop maintenance, inventory management, and most recently, CAD modeling. Thank you, ETI, for your positive impact on our students' career journeys! 🚀 Additionally, we want to highlight Carysn Drennan, who is making the most of her internship as an Athletic Trainer under the mentorship of Robin Dodd. After completing the Sports Medicine Career and Technical Education (CTE) Pathway, Carysn has been gaining hands-on experience at our home football games, providing essential care to student-athletes. Her role not only hones her practical skills but also teaches her valuable lessons in quick decision-making and effective communication in high-pressure situations. Carysn's journey exemplifies how our CTE pathways empower students to build professional skills and prepare for careers in sports medicine, all while supporting the Roosevelt athletic program! 🏈💪 If your company is ready to help launch the careers of RHS students, please fill out this form to start a meaningful partnership with our Work-Based Learning program: https://lnkd.in/gksXs-U4 #WBL #CareerDevelopment #CommunitySupport #RooseveltPride #CTE #FutureLeaders #weldre5j

Work-based learning engagement can be as simple as presenting to a high school class about your industry and occupation. This small amount of time does have a HUGE impact to the group of students listening. They get to have a light bulb moment of "this career is interesting to me" or "that can be crossed of my list". Thanks for bringing industry and students together, UCHealth and Roosevelt High School! Make this small investment of time! We were so grateful to have Jamie Baker, RN Stroke Coordinator for the UC Health Stroke Program, join RHS students in Sports Medicine classes. She shared her career highlights and informed us about stroke signs and symptoms. Jamie also serves as a CTE Advisory Board member for this pathway. Thank you, Jamie, for sharing your passion with us!
