You've probably seen it in action with pop-ups showing a Visa or Amex logo, asking for verification before completing a transaction. This feature helps minimize fraud by authenticating the cardholder through methods like one-time passwords or biometrics. A few forward-thinking ticket providers in our industry offer 3DS functionality for clients, ensuring most transactions are silently verified with the card issuer. For higher-risk purchases, customers may be prompted for additional authentication. They claim successful trials have shown few legitimate order rejections, making 3DS a reliable way to safeguard payments. Ask your ticketing rep if 3DS is available for you!
