The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) is a voluntary association of, by and for local governments, and was established to assist local governments in planning for common needs, cooperating for mutual benefit, and coordinating for sound regional development. NCTCOG's purpose is to strengthen both the individual and collective power of local governments and to help them recognize regional opportunities, eliminate unnecessary duplication, and make joint decisions.

As our inaugural year of the Professional Development Workshop Series comes to a close, I want to say how proud I am of all our staff. When I first pitched this program, I had no idea if anyone would even be receptive to it. It's been amazing to see it all come together, and I'm touched by the amount of support and enthusiasm it's received from the entire NCTCOG Transportation. Congratulations to our participants for completing the 2024 program. We're looking forward to hosting new workshops in 2025!
