🌟 Dancing into Navratri: Celebrating Culture, Community, and Garba 🌟 Last week our team in London came together to celebrate the vibrant Hindu festival of Navratri, a nine-day celebration symbolizing the victory of good over evil. The team embraced this tradition by learning and performing Garba, a lively and symbolic dance that represents unity and the cycle of life. The Garba dance class, led by our very own Parth Shah, brought people from all backgrounds together to experience the joy and energy of this colourful festival. The event was thoughtfully organized by our employee-led Asian Leadership Business Resource Council (ALBRC), with Jaymini Ichharam taking the lead and Falguni Modha, Bsc, FCA and Krishan Tank sharing their experiences. From understanding the cultural significance of Navratri to dancing and sharing in the fun and festivities, the event fostered a sense of community and inclusion. October is a special month at Northern Trust. Our employees come together for Achieving Greater Together, a month of global volunteering to give back to the communities where we live and work. In the first week alone, our employees did Diya painting in Bangalore, packed food in London, assembled activity kits for hospitalized kids in Chicago and distributed t-shirts and groceries in the Philippines. Thank you to all our employees who are giving of their time this month. We’ll be sharing more highlights of how #NTGivesBack in October.

Northern Trust India successfully hosted a two-day Global Hackathon event across their Bangalore and Pune offices, with 45 teams participating in the event. ⚓ Upbeat and energized was the theme of the event as you can see by the photos. Feedback from the event showed that it was a great learning experience from start to finish and each partner involved hoped to be part of another one soon.
