Earlier this month the Novo team in Lexington, SC took a break to enjoy a family day at Saluda Shoals (if you haven't been, you have to check it out). While the weather was a scorcher, we all kept cool on the splash pad at the park. This was a great chance to enjoy family, good food, playing games and being together. We're all looking forward to next year!

"Flexibility and scalability" is the theme of this year's annual Inbound Logistics Top 100 Third-Party Logistics Providers list, and we're proud to announce Novo made the top 100, nationwide. Reportedly, hundreds of companies across the country submitted credentials this year. The aim of Inbound Logistics was not just to recognize the biggest providers, but also the best partners capable of providing high quality solutions, and we're honored to have made the cut!

Last week the Novo team out of Lexington, SC donated hundreds of water bottles to the big-hearted people at Providence Home. This is our third year supporting the efforts of Providence Home, which provides transitional housing for men and promotes recovery from drugs, alcohol, and incarceration. Thank you for ALL you do for our community!

It was a gorgeous, sunny day in Lexington, SC for a day filled with golfing, networking, great conversations, and potential business relationships growing in and around the community. Novo sponsored the 12th hole at the Lexington Chamber of Commerce's Spring Golf Tournament. The course's resident feline, Ms. Cat spent most of the day at our hole, keeping the players on guard as she stood ready to pounce on golf balls as they landed. Thank you to our Recruiting Manager, Trish, for organizing the event for the team and everyone who participated.

We're happy to share that the team at Novo Logistics had the honor of being invited as guest presenters for a Supply Chain and Transportation Management Course at the University of Nevada. It was a welcomed opportunity for us to showcase one of our core competencies – Relationship Management. Four members of our team took to the classroom to share insights and experiences with the bright students at UNR. Fostering meaningful relationships is a huge part of what we do, as we believe in the power of strong connections to drive success, and being able to share this with the next generation of supply chain professionals was fulfilling. A huge thank you to the faculty and students at UNR for welcoming us.
