NPT staff and volunteers with Marshall Molar at Delta Dental Day at First Horizon Park last Friday! During the the third annual event 442 elementary-aged children received dental care, shoes and books courtesy of Delta Dental of Tennessee, Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry, Samaritan's Feet International, Book'em and cityCURRENT. NPT provided face-painting and PBS Kids stickers.

NPT hosted Nashville Soccer Club's Tempo the Coyote’s Kids Club before last night's home game at nearby GEODIS Park. Families took part in lawn games, art activities, and received PBS Kids related goodies.

This is event is free and open to the public, but reservations are required at https://lnkd.in/ehYHV2sf The afternoon starts with an informal visitation from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. featuring photos, clip reels and tours of the Tennessee Crossroads set in Studio B. The official program starts at 4:30 p.m. and includes tributes from Joe's family, friends and colleagues; as well as remarks from Mayor Freddie O’Connell.

NPT's annual summer board meeting and reception was held Wednesday at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP in the One 22 One building. Miranda Esmonde-White, host of the popular Classical Stretch series on PBS, received NPT's annual award in recognition of her 25 years of service to public media. Guests at the event included members of NPT's executive board, Community Advisory Board and others who contribute to the station's mission and work.
