The NRAEF was proud to attend The White House Recognition Ceremony yesterday alongside fellow ambassadors for a special event that is committed to expanding, diversifying, and modernizing Registered Apprenticeship to support the success of workers, employers, and communities across the country. This event honored the Apprenticeship Ambassadors from the first cohort that have met or exceeded their Registered Apprenticeship commitments. We're proud to recognize Gary LeBlanc, founder of Mercy Chefs, as the recipient of the Community Champion Award presented by American Express. 👏 A New Orleans-trained chef, LeBlanc started Mercy Chefs in 2006 to provide handcrafted, chef-prepared meals to those affected by disasters.
