On Wednesday we celebrated our annual Nussbaum Group Summer Hoopla! It was a wonderful time to gather all our Groupers at the office and have some fun. The Hoopla is an annual tradition where we bring together the entire team of employee owners - office, construction and maintenance - to discuss what is happening in the company, share good food, learn about some current topics, play games and trivia, and most importantly get to know each other a little more. Constructing and organically maintaining the most exceptional landscapes requires exceptional people (or Groupers as we call them) first and foremost. We are proud to introduce you to Ian Wilson, our Senior Construction Superintendent. Ian joined Nussbaum Group in 2010 and has been a huge contributor to our culture and quality every day of his 14 plus years. If you have met Ian, you know that his calm, even, innovative, common-sense approach to everything he does permeates his work and his leadership. Ian brings skills in every aspect of landscape construction (anything outside the building) as well as machine operation and is never afraid to take what he knows and make it even better by learning and teaching the most current techniques in building. Ian’s role as Senior Construction Superintendent means that he works with Superintendents and Project Managers across all our sites so we can consistently deliver the Collaboration, Quality, and Success our clients expect from us. Clients are often graced with getting to know Ian as he trains and supports team members on our sites. We are lucky to have Ian as one of our most exceptional employee owners and look forward to many more years of growing our skills together.
