Great turnout and even better discussion at the Alliance's Policymakers Breakfast this morning. Thank you to the team at Commonwealth Consultants for another excellently run event, our Premier Policymakers Series Sponsor Transurban, and host NVAR - Northern Virginia Association of REALTORS®. Bill Cuttler and Tiffany P. Robinson provided great insights on the current state of our transportation system and the projects that will keep our region moving. And whether it's the Southside Express Lanes, American Legion Bridge, or sustainable Metro funding, there is still a lot more work that needs to be done.

Reason Foundation's new Annual Highway Report is out! And Virginia continues to be one of the top 5 Best States for Transportation. https://lnkd.in/eVyUSfpY
Important insight from the Reason Foundation's new Annual Highways Report. Virginia continues to lead the country in efficiency and cost-effectiveness of it's roadway capital and bridge investments - essentially the cost of improving existing roads or building new roads and bridges. Virginia Department of Transportation has always placed a strong emphasis on delivering projects on-time and on-budget. It's clearly paying off. And Virginia's use of public-private partnerships is enhancing our ability to efficiently deliver more needed improvements for Virginians. https://lnkd.in/erZyGBte
