Today, NYSERDA announced the selection of CleanCapital to build one of the largest solar projects in the Adirondack Park on a portion of the Benson Mines property in St. Lawrence County. Today’s announcement is the result of New York’s first Build Ready site to be auctioned to advance large-scale renewable energy across the State. NYSERDA is partnering with local New York communities to identify and advance underutilized land for renewable energy projects. The project is located within Benson Mines' boundaries on a former tailings pile, while Benson Mines Inc. continues to operate as an aggregates and timber company. ☀️ https://lnkd.in/e5fC3wVM
