We're honored to participate! Thank you, NAMI Minnesota, for all you do to bring access to behavioral health care and raise awareness about mental health!
Once again, NAMIWalks Minnesota 2024 has set a new record as Minnesota’s largest mental health event. The remarkable turnout of over 3,000 individuals joining us on Saturday, September 28th, surpassed last year’s participation, solidifying NAMIWalks Minnesota’s position as one of the top fundraising walks in the state and around the country. It was a gorgeous sunny day, and people from all over Minnesota filled the Minnehaha Regional Park with a fantastic vibrating energy. Together, we raised over $530,000, and with funds still being tabulated, our goal of $580,000 is within reach! Funds raised at the walk allow us to continue to provide no-cost support and education to our community and help us encourage a better understanding of mental illnesses to reduce discrimination. Donations to the walk are still being accepted. Donate: https://lnkd.in/gZmCmtqx Also, it's worth checking if your employer matches donations. It can significantly boost your fundraising impact. Over 100 organizations have a matching program. The overwhelming support from NAMIWalkers, volunteers, and healthcare organizations underscores the increasing importance Minnesotans place on mental health, anti-discrimination efforts, and the need for expanded mental health resources and support. Mark your calendars for next year’s NAMIWalks, which will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2025.
