SaaS Observability means fewer incidents, more features & happy customers.
About us
Observe was founded by Sutter Hill Ventures in November 2017. Our founding team came from leading Enterprise SaaS and software companies that work with vast quantities of data such as Snowflake, Splunk and Wavefront. Our founding thesis was that the enterprises are data rich, but information poor. Data is siloed making it difficult to understand what’s going on inside applications and infrastructure. The result is often a poor customer experience and wasted engineering time tracking down incidents. Oh, and it costs a fortune. Observe discerns why applications and infrastructure are running the way they are from the data they emit. We enable engineers to spend more time coding features and less time investigating incidents. We reduce outages and issues with customer experience. And we leverage an elastic cloud architecture so that you only pay for what you use.

High-Cardinality Data Driving Up Costs? 🏃 ⚡ Cloud-native environments bring unique challenges, including managing high cardinality metrics. Because of the way most vendors count metrics with unique values as custom metrics, your costs can spiral out of control. Yet, you need high cardinality data to effectively monitor your cloud-native infrastructure and applications. Join us LIVE today and learn how to solve these #observability problems. RSVP below. #CloudNative #AI #metrics

Supports modern, cloud-native architectures Cloud-native apps generate a massive amount of telemetry data, and legacy tools simply can’t keep up. Observe ingests all telemetry data into an S3-based Data Lake, compresses it 10x and offers two months retention for all types of data by default. Observe's compute scales elastically as your environment grows and the complexity of queries increase. Ready to upgrade your observability stack? 👇 How’s your current tool managing the cloud-native transition? Comment below!

“High Cardinality” is one of those #observability terms that most people find confusing. It simply means “lots of unique values” … so if you’re a SaaS company ‘Customer ID’ would be a high cardinality metric. Because of the way most database systems that operate on “metrics” work, queries against high cardinality data are very expensive and so most people don’t even bother. Not with Observe, Inc. … to find out how check this out 👇👇
📈 Is high cardinality driving explosive growth in your custom metrics? 🤯 Tomorrow, our own Christopher Milton will show you how to handle cardinality and get detailed insights into user-specific metrics, dynamic environments, and complex systems.
