We are honored to have been a part of Jesse's Make-A-Wish dream of having his very own backyard baseball field! 🎉⚾ Our Baton Rouge office partnered with DDG and others to create a baseball field that's as close to regulation as it gets, complete with proper drainage. It’s been an incredibly rewarding experience to support such a resilient young man. We are looking forward to supporting the Make-A-Wish America-Wish Foundation as they continue to change lives. The North Star Construction and Odin (NSOD) Joint Venture is making steady progress on the Marysville Ring Levee Phase 2B project! We're thrilled to announce the successful completion of the Dry Creek Ecosystem Restoration Phase II Project! Odin partnered with ROD Construction, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and Sonoma Water to restore streams, floodplain, and riparian habitat along Dry Creek near Healdsburg, CA. Our team implemented a range of ecological measures—like riffles, large woody structures, and backwater pools—to improve habitat complexity and hydrologic connectivity. We also enhanced riparian habitats through invasive species removal and native replanting efforts. It’s been a rewarding project, especially working closely with local farmers and overcoming environmental challenges to help restore this vital ecosystem. This $90M+ project marks the start of crucial infrastructure improvements to a canal that has been providing irrigation and drinking water to the region since the 1930s.
