Through Mayor Bowser's investments in the Vitality Fund, we are attracting new businesses to DC and helping companies expand their presence, creating jobs for residents and filling office space in our Downtown.
Yesterday, Mayor Bowser and Deputy Mayor Nina Albert joined Kellen to cut the ribbon on their headquarters! Kellen, a global association management company and Vitality Fund awardee, relocated their HQ from Atlanta, GA, to Washington, DC, and will double the number of staff here.
We're grateful to CEO Travis Rush and the entire team at Kellen for choosing DC. And we think he said it best:
"Certainly, the association space values the proximity to decisionmakers and policymakers in the District, but also the Vitality Grant was kind of the cherry on top that really made the decision easier for us...We're very excited for what the future holds. We're very bullish in general on DC, not only, obviously, as a political capital, but as a business capital for many years to come. It's important to our clients and it's important to our staff.”
