About us

Dan Patrick is the current lieutenant governor of Texas where the office is part of both the Executive and Legislative branches. As the Constitutional President of the Senate, the Lieutenant Governor has a great deal of influence in shaping state policy and influencing laws that may eventually be passed by the Senate, by setting up committees and appointing their membership and debating/voting on all issues at key times, including the deciding vote in the case of a Senate tie.
