Giving back to our community is at the heart of what we do. Last week Beth Collins and Kelsey Claxton from our Kansas City office were joined by Anastasia Huggins and Henry Hammes from Lamar Johnson Collaborative to prepare lunches for families staying at Children's Mercy Kansas City with Ronald McDonald House Charities. These families are facing incredibly difficult moments as their children stay in the Intensive Care Unit and RMHC provides not just meals, but comfort and support during their stay. First Eagle’s recent office renovation called for thoughtfully integrated acoustic solutions and architectural walls, utilizing Teknion's Focus single- and double-glazed glass wall systems. Our objective was to create a modern work environment that offered the illusion of openness while maintaining necessary separation to ensure effective noise control. The integration of transparent walls plays a pivotal role, providing visibility and a sense of spaciousness while maintaining the desired acoustic performance. A standout feature of the project was the custom glass integration in the reception area, which was uniquely designed to wrap around the existing millwork.
