Modular construction is becoming more widely used across the country as the benefits become more widely recognized and accepted. The growth can be for several reasons including: Increased speed and efficiency: Modular construction allows for much of the construction work to be done in a factory setting, reducing the time and effort required on the construction site. This results in faster construction times and increased efficiency. Improved quality: Because modular components are constructed in a controlled factory environment, the quality of the work can be more consistent and higher than traditional on-site construction. Cost savings: By using off-site fabrication, modular construction can result in cost savings through more efficient use of materials, lower labor costs, and reduced waste. Sustainability: Modular construction often utilizes environmentally friendly materials and can result in reduced waste and emissions during the construction process. #offsitedirt #modularconstruction #sustainability Sneha Kumari, MBA, Six Sigma Merlin AI (YC S24) Rory Rubin, Modular BUILDING Solutions S.I. Building a Skilled Workforce One of the key elements of US Frame Factory’s success is their workforce. Rather than hiring based solely on experience, Mateo emphasizes hiring for “aptitude and attitude.” This approach allows the company to train employees in their specific processes, resulting in a highly innovative and adaptable team. Mateo notes that their team members come from diverse backgrounds, including retail, restaurants, and agriculture, each bringing unique skills that contribute to the company’s efficiency. The culture at US Frame Factory fosters creativity and problem-solving, with employees often finding solutions that even surprise the founders. Mateo attributes much of their success to this open and collaborative environment, where team members not only work together but also enjoy each other’s company, creating a cohesive and motivated workforce. https://lnkd.in/dYEMcvAa FRAMECAD Ryan Zillion Peter Maggio Erik Cofield Edie Dillman Len Jornlin Nolan Browne Lisner Stiven Luque Landa Tiago Pinto William Larkin Ben Taylor Kent Anderson #offsitedirt #usframefactory #steelframe #construction #collaboration
