  • 💖 Great Reviews for our New Syracuse Emergency Center - after just 9 days of being open! “Wasn't sure what the capabilities were, but they are the closest ER, so gave it a shot. Was very pleasantly surprised. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable. Got us back almost immediately and got my wife taken care of. Will definitely keep them in mind for future emergencies.”- Google Review of Syracuse Emergency Center Did you have a nice experience? Tell us about it in the comments. 💖

  • Our colleagues at Syracuse Emergency Center affectionately call the toilet in the photo ‘Big John’, but there are good, practical reasons for its' size. It’s a wonderful comfort for any laboring mothers and a better fit for patients who need a little more space than a regular-size toilet can provide. At any rate, ‘Big John’ is conversation starter at our new Emergency Center, and a nice benefit to many who come to us for care. Remember: Syracuse Emergency Center is now open, 24/7 to meet your family's emergency needs. 323 S. 2000 W., Syracuse, UT.

  • 'Bee Award' for Sierra Bryne, with Environmental Services (center in photo, surrounded by her colleagues.) The honey bee is known for it's dedication to laboring for others. Like the bee, we have nursing partners who dedicate themselves to providing exceptional care and creating a safe, comfortable environment for others. The Bee Award is in recognition for upholding those values. From her nomination: "Sierra came to clean my Mom's room. She went above and beyond to make a connection. She chatted with Mom about her family, her stay, needs, anything. Mom described her as "the friendliest person in the hospital." She not only made a connection, but when Mom presented her with a problem she was having, she solved it. This seems like such a small thing, but Sierra truly 'Raised the Bar' in patient experience for my Mom." Did someone make your stay with us better? Tell us about it in the comments.

  • 👌 She's here to make sure your registration goes as smoothly as possible!! Congratulations to Michele Danielian, for being awarded as Front Office manager of the quarter. From her award: "Michele has been with the company for 35 years and has been the Patient Access manager since 2003. Michele is a mom of 3 and a grandma of 2 and soon to be 3. She loves traveling, camping, concerts, dogs, movies and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Michele is a champion for our employees and spends extra time coaching them and helping each new hire learn their job duties so they can be successful. Michele takes the time to listen to our patients when they have a question or issue. She stays calm even when our patients are upset and will listen to their concerns. She has a great way of phrasing things to help the patient resolve their concerns. There are many patients who will only ask for Michele because they know she will listen and help resolve their concerns. Michele has a “Can do” leadership approach. She takes the high road and has a positive attitude when new automation or processes are introduced. The staff know they can ask her a question and she will have or will find the answer. We are so grateful to have Michele as our Manager at Ogden Regional Medical Center." Join our team: https://bit.ly/3AKAFoI

  • Terra Loutensock with our Cancer Treatment Center has earned a 'Gold Shoe' Award. From her nomination: "Terra went above and beyond for a critically ill patient whose insurance denied her treatment. Terra spent all day on the phone, including a 4 hour hold until after 5 pm, to try and get it sorted as the patient was scheduled early the next morning for treatment. She fought hard - as she would for her own family - and found a solution to get the patient treated as fast as possible. She does that for ALL of our patients. She lives our mission and is committed to the care and improvement of human life. Thank you Terra." The 'Gold Shoe' Certificate of Honor Award is presented to ORMC colleagues for giving of exceptional service, living our mission and exhibiting our values. You're amazing Terra!
