A recent survey by Gartner reveals that 76% of logistics transformation projects fail to meet key performance metrics such as budget, timeline, and other critical KPIs. The survey, which included 306 logistics professionals from companies with over $500 million in annual revenue, highlights the importance of leadership's approach to team resistance and feedback. The survey also found that most logistics leaders recognize the importance of transformation, with 81% believing it to be critical. However, only 20% effectively use resistance to enhance outcomes. The common urgency-driven approach, characterized by a “get with the program” mindset, decreases the odds of success by 47%.
