Natalie Cook and Liane O. got an inspiring inside look at Hawai‘i Pacific Health’s bold vision for the redevelopment of the Straub Benioff Medical Center 🏥✨ at The CCIM Institute | Hawaii Chapter luncheon today. Hearing from Art Gladstone, Chief Strategy Officer and Warren Chaiko, SVP of Design & Construction brought to life the immense planning and dedication that have fueled this project — a journey that began decades ago with Dr. George Straub’s powerful vision to "create a clinic where patients always come first and where the health needs of the entire family could be met under one roof.” 🌱👨⚕️👩⚕️ It’s amazing to see a commitment to healthcare evolve over generations and take shape in this ambitious redevelopment. Straub’s next chapter promises to be a state-of-the-art space designed to adapt to the needs of Hawai‘i’s communities, supported by innovative tools, resources, and care that will keep families healthy for decades to come. Check out the renderings and vision at FutureForwardStraub.org for a preview of the transformation to come! #FutureForwardStraub #HealthcareInnovation

Buying into a franchise isn’t as simple as buying into a business. You still have to build the business and this is a fascinating interview with deep insights to running a company of franchise opportunities. Vigor is an agency that focuses on the foodservice industry and is a member of the Pavone Group of agencies. We are an affliated agency through the global ICOM Network. Our CEO, Alan Tang is a member of the board of directors.
Anand Gala’s life in the restaurant industry started at a very young age when his mother became one of the first franchisees for Jack-in-the-Box. Today, he’s managing partner of Gala Capital Partners, an investment and holding company whose portfolio includes CiCi’s Pizza, Famous Dave’s Barbeque, Rusty Taco and MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes. 🌟 More reflections on our experience at the ICOM Network North America Conference where we did a deep dive into the Data & Analytics world. Members from various agencies across North America had valuable discussions, and here are 3 of our key takeaways. 📊✨ 📊Make Time for Knowledge-Sharing: There is power in learning about how other people do their job — everything from types of metrics to track, reporting examples, and even industry benchmarks. New ideas always spur from these discussions and reminded us of the importance of taking time away from the day-to-day work to share and learn. 📊Embrace AI: AI will likely not replace our jobs as marketers, but it can accelerate our workflows. There are many opportunities to utilize AI including curating a list of new ideas for a campaign, creating first drafts of content, or even building audience personas. 📊Start with Insights: It's tempting to jump into action right away, however, each campaign should always slow down to start with an insight. Research helps ensure that every marketing initiative is built upon a foundation of relevant data that translates to impact. What other data and analytics tips do you have? Let's share knowledge! ⬇️

🌟 I had the privilege of attending the Chamber of Commerce 2024 Annual Event today with my colleague from Olomana Loomis ISC, Britney Unoki! It was a day filled with great conversations, reconnecting with old friends, and making new connections. One of the highlights was a leadership panel, where panelists Jan Kaeo, Leila Fujinaka, Noah Pomeroy, CMT-P, and Sarah Guay explored the qualities that define great leaders—those who innovate, inspire, and engage. 💡✨ We reflected on leadership as a form of service, truly supporting our teams to help them succeed. We also took time to consider the role of mindfulness in leadership and what it means for how we show up for others. These moments of reflection remind me of the importance of intentional leadership and the impact we can make when we lead with purpose (something I am personally working on). Mahalo Sherry Menor-McNamara and the entire team at the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii for an uplifting event. And to all 40+ vendors that took the time to share about their organization with hundreds of professionals at the expo. #Leadership #ChamberOfCommerce #MindfulLeadership

Today I had the pleasure of attending the 174th Annual Membership Luncheon Presented by Southwest Airlines, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii with our President, Natalie Cook (Thank you Olomana Loomis ISC!). A highlight of the event was the "Amplify Your Leadership Impact" panel discussion featuring esteemed speakers like Leila Fujinaka, Sarah Guay, Jan Kaeo, and Noah Pomeroy. The discussion shed light on innovative leadership practices that go beyond conventional norms. It emphasized the importance of recognizing and embracing individual complexities within teams, suggesting that effective communication should be tailored to inspire and bring out the best in everyone. One compelling insight from the panel was the concept that facing one’s imposter syndrome can be a powerful indicator of readiness for professional growth, a perspective that champions stress management as a pathway to personal and leadership development. The panel served as a profound reminder of the continuous journey of personal and professional evolution, underscoring the importance of mentorship, authenticity, and the relentless pursuit of improvement in leadership. It was particularly great to see and hear from Jan Kaeo, someone I deeply respect and have learned much from.

🌟 What an inspiring day at the Hawaii Chamber of Commerce 2024 Annual Luncheon! Britney and Natalie were thrilled to join hundreds of business professionals from across various industries, all coming together to learn, connect, and celebrate. ✨ Highlights of the day included a robust expo featuring dozens of vendors, the welcoming of the incoming Chamber Board, and the honoring of the Young Professional of the Year and the Educator of the Year. Attendees also enjoyed a preview of the upcoming ʻAuana Show, the new Cirque du Soleil performance debuting in December, which beautifully honors Hawaiian culture. 🌺🤝 Events like these remind us why we’re proud to be part of Hawaii’s vibrant business community and the important role we all play in supporting our Chamber. 💼🙌 #ChamberOfCommerce #BusinessCommunity #BetterTogether
