    🚨 **Google Ads AI Fail: Competitor LPs in Sitelinks?!** 🚨 Just uncovered something wild—Google auto-generating sitelinks that recommend competitor landing pages in our ads. 😳 Why, I love the team of awesome Google specialists we have! ❌ We’ve never used these competitor domains. ❌ They don’t exist on our site. ❌ Yet, Google is still pulling them in. This could mean ad dollars unknowingly funneling traffic to competitors—a huge risk for brands running automated sitelinks. If you're using them, double-check ASAP. We’re reaching out to Google for answers. Has anyone else seen this? 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘅 Contrary to popular belief, there's no silver bullet for attribution. Even the best multi-touch attribution (MTA) tools can't provide a perfect picture. 🔍 The key? Triangulate your data: • Post-purchase surveys • MTA tools • In-platform reporting Always sanity-check against the metrics that truly matter: Sales & Profits. 𝟰. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿, 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹, 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 No channel, offer, or creative lasts forever. Diversification is crucial for sustained growth. 💡 Try the 10% Rule: Allocate 10% of your budget to experiment with... • New channels • Fresh offers • Innovative creatives Don't wait for decline – proactively seek your next big win.

    Sharing a quick note inspired by a mentoring session I had last week with a client. She was eager to implement Target CPA bidding right off the bat, but the account had barely 10 conversions in the past month. Here’s the thing about using AI in Google Ads: It needs data to learn. AI is like having a smart assistant, but it’s only as good as the info you give it. Some rules for long term results: ➡ Consistency is key. Make sure conversion tracking is always on point. Messy or inaccurate data throws everything off. ➡ Give it time. Even when you have enough conversion data, the AI needs a ramp-up period (usually 1-2 weeks) to get things dialed in. ➡ More data = better results. The more conversion data you feed the AI, the better it gets at predicting what works. Don’t rush AI. Add micro conversions if you need to (those high intent website actions like check out initiation, etc) that can help move it along. #GoogleAds, #SEM, #PPC, #SearchMarketing, #AI, #BiddingStrategies
