When Better Block SGF set out to revitalize the Medical Mile district in Springfield, they envisioned an area that fostered community, enhanced walkability, and celebrated local culture. 📍 Stretching 2.8 miles along National Avenue—home to two major hospitals and some of the city’s busiest intersections—the Medical Mile is a gateway many Springfield residents and visitors know well. Revel was proud to partner with Better Block SGF to bring this vision to life through strategic branding and design. It’s finally happened — out with the square and in with the rectangle. With these updates, you might find your IG feed is in need of some tweaks. Here are some good rules of thumb to keep your posts looking their best: 🎨 As Instagram transitions from square to rectangle for all users, ensure your images still work for the center square for users without the update. 🔄 Create 4:5 (1080 x 1350) static posts, but make sure they preview well on your grid when cropped to 3:4. 📹 Reels will still use the 9:16 format, but remember to optimize them to look good in 4:5 for the feed preview. 🚫 Avoid just making 3:4 posts — Instagram doesn’t support this format! 🔍 Review your timeline to see where tweaks might be needed.
