🌟 Happy Diwali to all! 🌟 As we celebrate the Festival of Lights, I want to take a moment to reflect on the values that Diwali embodies: the triumph of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair. This festive season reminds us of the importance of family, gratitude, and community. In our professional lives, just like Diwali symbolizes new beginnings, let’s embrace opportunities for growth and collaboration. Together, we can illuminate our paths and drive positive change in our workplaces and beyond. Wishing everyone a prosperous and joyful Diwali filled with peace, success, and happiness! May the light of Diwali bring wisdom and prosperity to you and your families. #Diwali #FestivalOfLights #Community #Gratitude #NewBeginnings

69% of managers admit they feel uncomfortable talking to their team members. By the time they’re ready to have these conversations, it’s often too late to make a difference. The solution? Stay interviews. Here are seven key questions to ask during a stay interview: 1. What do you enjoy most about your current role? 2. What frustrates you at work, and how can we improve it? 3. Are you receiving the support you need to succeed? 4. What motivates you to come to work every day? 5. Do you see opportunities for growth within the company? 6. Are there any skills you’d like to develop that we can assist you with? 7. What can we do to encourage you to stay long term? Remember: The true value of these questions lies not just in listening, but in taking action based on what you hear. Don’t wait for the exit interview to understand why people leave. Ask now and learn how to help them stay. Repost if you find this message resonates with you. ➡️ Follow @OMTECH #EmployeeEngagement #RetentionStrategies #StayInterviews #EmployeeSatisfaction #LeadershipTips #HRInsights #WorkplaceCulture #EmployeeFeedback #LeadershipDevelopment #TalentRetention #EmployeeMotivation #PeopleManagement #LeadershipMatters #CareerGrowth #EmployeeSupport

Your base salary is just one part of the bigger picture. 9 factors that can influence your next job offer. 1. What does the Total Compensation Package include? Take a moment to consider more than just the base salary. Explore bonuses, stock options, commissions (whether capped or uncapped), and any other financial incentives to gain a complete understanding. 2. How Frequently Are Raises Provided? Get to know how often salary reviews happen and what they are based on. Is it based on performance? Is it every year? I always like to find this out early on to get a sense of my future earning potential. 3. What’s the deal with bonuses? I'm curious, does the company provide annual bonuses or performance-based ones? Check out the requirements to qualify and the timing for payouts. 4. Do you offer any stock options or equity incentives? If you're thinking about joining a startup or a growing company, stock options or equity can really make a difference. Get to know the vesting period, possible $ value, and the terms involved. 5. What’s Included in the Benefits Package? In addition to salary, health insurance, dental, vision, retirement contributions, and other perks can really make a difference in your financial well-being. 6. Is there a relocation or housing allowance available? More companies are heading back to the office. Check to see if there’s assistance available for your move, which might cover shipping expenses, housing allowances, or even trips for house-hunting. 7. Are there any benefits for educational or professional development? Keeping up with learning can really help your career grow. Does the company support your growth by offering courses, workshops, or tuition reimbursements? 8. What is the duration of the company's cash runway? For startups, grasping the company's financial runway (the duration they can function without extra funding) can provide valuable insights into the company's stability and future prospects. 9. Is the company reaching its revenue goals? Are they regularly hitting or surpassing revenue goals? This might show how secure a job is (like layoffs) and what the company envisions for the future. Hi there! How can I assist you today? These questions are great to discuss with your recruiter to get more clarity. The more you learn, the better you'll be at negotiating and grasping everything that's being offered! Make sure to ask the right questions so you don't miss out on opportunities or find yourself surprised later on. ♻ Spread the word to assist someone in their job hunt! ➡️ Follow OMTECH #JobOfferTips #TotalCompensation #CareerGrowth #SalaryNegotiation #JobHunt #CareerAdvice #CompensationPackage #FinancialWellBeing #JobSearchStrategies #NegotiationSkills #ProfessionalDevelopment #StockOptions #CareerOpportunities #EmployeeBenefits #JobSeekers

Working smarter sounds like a great plan! But you really have to put in a lot of effort at the beginning. There's this well-known saying floating around online: "It's all about working smart instead of just working hard." I really appreciate the thought, but I don't think it's quite on point. I believe you need to earn the right to do that. In life, we pick things up through experience: ✅ The wins! ❌ The setbacks 🔁 Everything in between So, if you’re putting in 80-hour weeks starting at 19... You'll definitely outpace your peers in growth. They’re all about finding that balance and "working smart." You're really putting in the effort now so you can work smarter down the line. If you're looking for some tips to kickstart your career, Let me share three tough career truths that I really wish I had figured out earlier: 1. You know, the most successful people aren’t always the ones who are the smartest. They put in a ton of effort for what feels like forever. 2. Experience can't be rushed. You really can't figure out what works until you've stumbled a few times. 3. You might not have a clear picture of what 'smart' really means. If you don’t put in the time, you really miss out on understanding what’s actually smart. When you're young, you really don't have a lot on your plate: You've got a spouse, kids, or maybe an elderly parent to look after. Hey, I think you should totally make the most of that while it lasts! It's easy to go a bit too far in this direction and end up feeling burnt out. That's not great, and it's definitely not what I'm getting at. But hey, don’t just take the advice and look for a comfy balance. Push yourself and aim for the best you can be. ➡️ Follow OMTECH #CareerGrowth #WorkSmartWorkHard #EarlyCareerAdvice #SuccessMindset
