    🌟 Reflecting on an incredible week in Denver at the E Source Forum 2024! 🌟 It was an honor for Oncourse Home Solutions to sponsor the 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝘆 Track this year. The sessions centered on making the business case for equity at utilities, finding ways to operationalize it, setting clear goals and metrics for success, and truly integrating equity across operations and customer programs.   There were so many amazing sessions this year. Shout out to Meena Beyers, Latisha Hill, Theresa Hopkins-Staten and Jamie Wimberly for an incredible panel discussion focused on "Building the business case for equity at your utility." Your insights in this panel and so many others were invaluable.  A special thank you to Marguerite (Meg) Hillock, our Director of External Affairs, for her insightful introduction on how Oncourse plays a role in 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, in partnership with utilities and municipalities.     Jeffrey Pascus joins as our new Product Owner. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Informatics with a minor in Telecommunication from Indiana University and is a Certified Scrum Product Owner.   Prior to joining Oncourse, Jeff worked as a Senior Product Manager at Lessen Inc. Originally from Chicago, Jeff has lived in Colorado but returned to his hometown and now resides in Arlington Heights with his wife, two daughters, and two dogs.   Jeff is passionate about family life, spending time with his young daughters, and enjoys outdoor activities like snowboarding and taking his dogs to the park. He’s also a big Chicago sports fan. Jeff looks forward to collaborating with his new team and contributing to Oncourse’s ongoing success. While he hasn’t yet needed to use a home warranty, Jeff knows how valuable it can be from the experiences of others.     Oncourse Walks for Breast Cancer Awareness Month Yesterday, we proudly completed Oncourse's first annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk! As we came together across locations—from Alton to Mount Laurel and Naperville—our team walked in solidarity to raise awareness for breast cancer, honoring survivors and supporting those still fighting. Breast cancer affects so many lives, and at Oncourse, we stand united in the belief that every step counts in this journey. Hosted by our women’s EBRG O2W we also built care packages for cancer patients. We are proud to have completed 150 kits that will go to OSF HealthCare in Alton, IL, Cooper University Health Care in Mt. Laurel, NJ, and Northwestern Medicine Living Well Cancer Resources in Naperville, IL. Thank you to everyone who participated in person or remotely—and to our teams in the UK who walked alongside us across the pond. She brings over 10 years of proven leadership experience in product management, having successfully led diverse global teams in building innovative solutions across both customer-facing and internal business applications.   She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Chandigarh, India, and a Diploma in Computer Science and Technology from Aptech, India. Geeta's experience in an Agile environment has equipped her with the skills to build cross-functional teams that prioritize customer needs and align product strategies with business goals. She is passionate about fostering collaboration between IT, business stakeholders, and developers, ensuring the delivery of solutions that exceed user expectations.   Originally from India, Geeta now resides in the United States, where she enjoys traveling and staying up to date with the latest tech trends.     James A. Watts Sr., MBA joins us as the Head of Sales & Strategy. With a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and an MBA in Operations Management, James has held leadership roles such as Director of Client Operations at Cobb Energy, Director of Business Operations at Cobb EMC, Senior Director of CX at Fiber South, and VP of CX & Strategy at Point Broadband. James, a proud native of Marietta, GA, has a deep commitment to philanthropy, having volunteered with the Special Olympics for 25 years and coached community teams for 15 years. Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with his family and loves the ocean. Having benefited from a home warranty, James understands firsthand the value it offers, especially in handling costly home repairs.
