🌞 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿! 🌞 Summer typically conjures images of joy—Food, Fun, Friendship, and Family. Yet, for many in the Lakota community on Pine Ridge Reservation, this isn't the reality. With summer comes challenges—empty tables, lonely children, and harsh heat that wears both physically and emotionally. 🚀 With fewer than 2 days in our COUNTDOWN TO SUMMER 2024 FUNDRAISER, we’re gearing up to transform this summer into an unforgettable season for everyone. Our Goals: 📌 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝: We aim to complete and stock new food pantries in Manderson and Pine Ridge, building on the success of our existing pantry in Allen. 📌 𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝: The Allen Youth Center will offer classes and daily nutritious lunches, providing a safe haven for children and teens. 📌 𝙁𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙮𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙊𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨: Through the One Spirit Employment Program, participants will gain invaluable work experience and broaden their horizons. 📌 𝙀𝙣𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙝 𝙇𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙦𝙪𝙚 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨: From Horse Spirit Camps to Camp Marrowbone and Lakota YouthStay, we’re dedicated to giving children experiences that ignite joy and discovery. 🤝 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗨𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲!
