Penn State and onsemi, a leader in intelligent power and sensing technologies, have established the onsemi Silicon Carbide Crystal Center (onsemi SiC3) at Penn State’s Materials Research Institute. The onsemi SiC3 center will drive research within the Silicon Carbide Innovation Alliance (SCIA). As a catalyst for the alliance, onsemi will provide operational guidance through its seat on the Industrial Advisory Board, which is scheduled to convene for the first time on March 19th. onsemi Materials Research Institute
