  • Meet Kevin, an avid skier and golfer who never imagined that a severe fracture would put his active lifestyle on hold. After a slip and fall left him with a broken elbow and unable to enjoy a scheduled long weekend skiing in Vermont, Kevin turned to Orthopaedic & Neurosurgery Specialists (ONS) for help. Under the expert care of Dr. David Wei, Hand, Wrist, and Elbow Surgeon at ONS, Kevin underwent surgery to repair his fractured elbow. The procedure was a success, and to aid in his recovery, our care team provided Kevin with at-home exercises. Kevin was impressed with his excellent follow-up care and felt well-informed and reassured throughout the entire process. In only a few short months, Kevin was back to his favorite activities. His journey from injury to recovery highlights the importance of expert care and a tailored treatment plan. We're proud to have been part of Kevin's recovery journey and to help him return to the active lifestyle he loves. “Even though I never got to go skiing that weekend, I am extremely grateful for the care I received. Dr. Wei and his team took great care of me, and their dedication and professionalism did not go unnoticed. I highly recommend their services to anyone,” Kevin shared. • One day while kayaking, Kevin tore the meniscus in his left knee. As an outdoor enthusiast who is constantly out kayaking, hiking, or skiing, he suddenly found himself unable to do any of the three due to the pain. Kevin underwent surgery with Dr. Demetris Delos, sports medicine surgeon at ONS. On the day of his surgery, Kevin appreciated how Dr. Delos told him exactly what he was going to do in the operating room. “The facility was great, the people were welcoming, and I felt comfortable going into the operating room,” said Kevin. After physical therapy and rehabilitation, Kevin got back to kayaking last summer and skiing this season. “I didn’t know what to expect the next ski season but I’m skiing as well as I’ve ever skied in my whole life and am 100% pain free doing it,” said Kevin. “I’m back to doing everything I was doing before without any limitations.” Read more of Kevin’s story here: https://ow.ly/i2ck50Ss3OU
