Here's something quick you can learn on your way out of the office today: Automating BGP Peering At OpenColo With Nokia SR Linux Our CTO Scott Brookshire was invited by Ethan Banks to discuss how OpenColo uses Nokia’s SR Linux network OS to support automation tasks including BGP peering. During this video, they go in details why OpenColo chose SR Linux for a greenfield network, SR Linux features that allow the company to build predictable automations on top, and how OpenColo ingests telemetry from the NOS for monitoring and operations. It’s been a massive 2 weeks here at Megaport! So BIG I’m struggling to keep up! Here’s a list off the top of my head! - Back-to-back investor/analyst sessions for 3 days during the Half Year Roadshow in Sydney & Melbourne last week. - NVIDIA announces mind melding advancements that sound more like a science fiction novel than reality. - At the exact moment, Megaport launches new GPUaaS on ramps, connecting the newest NVIDIA farms to our backbone. The instant traffic throughput is off the charts! - We became the very first ever DXaaS provider to be available in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) marketplace. - Megaport’s world tour continues. In the past 2 weeks alone, we have had NY, Singapore, Tokyo, Osaka, Hong Kong, Denver, Perth, St Louis, KC, Salt Lake City, probably missed a few… - I was lucky to join the Singapore and HK sessions. Great to see plenty of old friends at the Cisco office who hosted us! Dave West, Ken Boal, Kartika Prihadi, Jason Brouwers, Andrew Eaton. - Our newly launched Weekly Tech-Drop In sessions have been pumping. Thanks to our genius SAs for hosting! - Over 100 attendees on our Oracle Cloud webinar! - Wasabi Technologies Cloud On-Ramps is now documented in Mega Docs. Unbelievable what this company can do with storage! - We celebrated International Data Center Day. It’s where Megaport lives. Check out the photo of one of our pops and follow Adam Gibson for the latest. - Australian Data Centres came online, opening up Government Customers in Australia. - Thésée DataCenter & OpenColo came online, and more to come shortly. - We connected Adelaide to the Mega Internet Exchange! - Our favorite influencer, Alexis Bertholf ✨ shared Megaport’s power in one of her awesome videos. - We welcomed new starters, and I had the chance to interview 6 finalists who were all offered roles in the GTM org. - The Q2 Docs were all translated into Japanese, German, French & Spanish. Amazing what can happen in 2 weeks! Time to spend some time with the family!!
