🚀 The OpenTofu 1.8 alpha version supports .tofu files. 📁 If you have two files with the same name, one with a .tf extension and the other with a .tofu extension, OpenTofu will now prioritize and use the .tofu file, completely ignoring the .tf file. This resolves a major issue for developers, allowing them to create modules and automations for both OpenTofu and Terraform seamlessly. 🎉 Now, you can easily manage version constraints for both by simply using a new file extension.
