Before and after detail of an extensive restoration project for the Metropolitan Club courtyard facade next to Central Park. One highlight of this detailed restoration was the addition of faux veining over the old patchwork to blend the structural repairs with the original materials to maintain the facade's authentic appearance. And let us tell you, this marble is gorgeous. #marble #restoration #facades #metropolitanclub #colormatching

AFTER and BEFORE a limestone restoration— identifying, removing, patching, texturizing, color-matching to perfection. We brought new life to the worn and eroded facade at 9 East 67th Street. #facade #restoration #limestone #masonry #patch #stone

Here we have the complete transformation of a private residence by Opus Architectural Arts. After power-washing and green stripping away layers upon layers of old, unbreathable paint, we began our expert color matching and restoration on the exterior bricks, revealing their original historic character and beauty. Our artisans applied their skill to breathe new life into every brick (yes virtually EVERY brick) of this beautiful townhouse. A few thousand bricks later, we think the results are wonderful.Do you have a similar project? Reach out to see how Opus can help you achieve your best results.#restoration #residential #brick #masonry #facade

Opus was hired to paint a logo on the lighthouse of 950 University Avenue. This building used to be H.W. Wilson's main office, a publishing company famous for its Readers Guide to Periodical Literature. The company's logo featured a lighthouse on an open book, representing their mission to guide people through the world of books and periodicals. The structure has changed hands and undergone a much-needed revitalization that Opus was proud to be part of.
