We recently held our 2024 Annual Meeting, Operating Partner Summit, and Cocktail Event. The events presented an important opportunity to engage with our limited partners, operating partners and portfolio company executives to celebrate shared successes over the past year and discuss how we believe Orangewood Partners can continue to drive value for our investors, partners, and portfolio companies. Members of the Orangewood Partners team took part in a day of volunteer work with The Urban Outreach Center of NYC (“UOC”) to aid the organization in its mission to provide healthy food, clothing, hygiene essentials, and a variety of other social services to low-income individuals, immigrants, and women. Orangewood employees spent the day packaging and distributing food for hundreds of food-insecure New Yorkers. Annually, the UOC serves over 65,000 people each year across all five boroughs and New Jersey. #Philanthropy #Volunteer #Team

The Orangewood Partners team hopes everyone had a great summer and we are looking forward to a productive end to 2024. At Orangewood, one activity we participated in over the summer was a team boat outing, which presented an opportunity for our team to get to know each other outside the office and build camaraderie.

All our interns demonstrated exceptional talent and dedication throughout the internship, and we wish them the best of luck during the upcoming school year.

We are excited to welcome our two newest Associates, Aimee Hou and Leo S. to the Orangewood Partners team. Before joining the firm, Aimee and Leo served as Investment Banking Analysts. We always seek to attract promising individuals to help the firm better serve as a value-add partner to founder-led businesses and management teams. We look forward to working with Aimee and Leo as they grow at Orangewood.

Orangewood Partners Managing Partner Neil Goldfarb recently spoke with Middle Market Growth Magazine about how businesses are more frequently looking for specialized HR platforms amid a tightening labor market and changing employee demands. Notably, Orangewood is an active participant in the sector following its acquisition of global life sciences recruitment firm Barrington James.   “Ultimately, companies want vendors or partners that understand their needs and can fill vacancies quickly. This is becoming ever more important as specialization becomes increasingly common, non-competes are facing legal challenges and employees are willing to leave roles quicker.
