October marks Black History Month in the UK and Europe. Black History Month UK Month creates space for everyone to reflect on the struggle of Black people across the world to get to where they are today – and the challenges they still face. The 1920’s brainchild of Carter G Woodson, known as the father of black history, Black History Month began in the U.S. where it is now celebrated every February.
