Pacific Power, along with federal and state natural resource agencies, will host a public tour of environmental enhancement projects at the North Umpqua Hydroelectric Project, on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. The annual tour will highlight state-of-the-art fish passage facilities and recent spawning habitat improvements at Soda Springs Dam and other locations on the North Umpqua River within the Umpqua National Forest, approximately 60 miles east of Roseburg. Last week, Pacific Power employees lent a hand at SnowCap Community Charities, getting ready for their Back-to-School event. The team organized and displayed donated school clothing, ensuring everything was prepared for more than 300 families to pick out free back-to-school outfits.
