We are excited to have Saul Gauthier join our marketing team as our newest Regional Director of Care Transitions – Texas Medical Center. Saul brings over 13 years of experience in the skilled nursing industry, with a strong background in sales and operations in the Houston area. He is a passionate advocate for the senior community, consistently achieving top patient satisfaction rankings at his previous companies. As a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), Saul has a special place in his heart for those affected by dementia, driven by personal experience. His expertise will be invaluable in supporting families and enhancing our care services. Saul holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. He and his wife, Dallas, are proud parents of four children – one boy and three girls. In his spare time, Saul enjoys family time, cooking, and participating in community and philanthropic activities, including fundraisers for the Alzheimer’s Association and The American Cancer Society. Saul is thrilled to join the Paradigm family and looks forward to contributing to our culture of providing exemplary care by exemplary employees. We are excited to have you on our team!

Paradigm at Woodwind Lakes is excited to welcome Marlena Lorick as the new Director of Nursing! Marlena brings 22 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a career that includes 15 years as a Director of Nursing. Her extensive background also spans roles as an MDS Consultant, Facility Nurse Consultant, MDS Coordinator, Nurse Manager with the South Carolina Department of Mental Health (Psych), and Vocational Nurse Adjunct Instructor. Originally from Columbia, South Carolina, Marlena moved to Texas in December 2019. When she’s not leading her team, you can find her enjoying time with her family—proudly known as "TiTi" to 3 nephews and 4 nieces. Marlena also loves dancing, crafting personalized items like cups and party favors, and shopping for sneakers. Her passion for cooking shines through as she often treats her staff to her delicious meals. Marlena is known for her outstanding leadership, promoting teamwork, and excellent communication skills. We are thrilled to welcome her to the Paradigm Healthcare team and look forward to the positive impact she will bring to Paradigm at Woodwind Lakes.
