The year was 1984. Police Academy was making people laugh in the theatre, "When Doves Cry" was constantly playing on the radio, and one teacher was in his garage trying to design a better desk for his #students. Through a lot of dedication, hard work, perseverance, (and a little creativity), Paragon Furniture was born. 40 years later, Paragon continues to positively impact the lives of thousands of students & #teachers across North America. Although the company has changed quite a bit in 4 decades, the goal has always been the same - to elevate the human learning experience through the awesome #furniture we make. There is so much that can be said about our incredible company that officially turned 40 years old today, and the amazing people behind it all, but the most important part is this: We create inspiring furniture for learning spaces. Happy 40th Anniversary, Paragon!!

We recently got to visit some amazing schools in the Northwest ISD in Texas & it was so cool to see our #furniture being used in these incredible #learning spaces. Students thrive in environments that inspire them & make them feel supported, and these #schools are definitely doing their part to make that happen!

Sensory Ergonomics in learning spaces is a vitally important topic that is shaping the way modern classrooms & schools are being designed. The physical environment has a huge impact on learning, and understanding the role of Sensory Ergonomics in education is crucial. Paragon has an AIA certified CEU course specifically about Sensory Ergonomics and how it impacts student performance in educational settings. We had a fantastic time meeting up with everyone on the Paragon Furniture team this week in Arlington, TX for our Q2 Huddle! We got to celebrate June being our biggest production month of all time & recognize our 3 newest Red Stetson winners - Stephanie Lebro, Zarian Parker, & Gina Gibson. The ridiculous Red Stetson is given out to those who exhibit excellence in everything they do & truly embody the mission of Paragon.
