Special Olympics Flag Football Game The Rocky Mountain Special Olympics flag football teams treated us like the Raiders yesterday, and they were the Broncos. They had three teams, a ton of energy and a cheering section that rivaled the South Stands at Mile High. Commander Coleman joined Sergeants Brienzo and Eckmann, Officers Hennager, McLean and Smith, Dispatcher Selders, Cadets Gazda, Gherbaz, Oakley and Terry and Explorer Ball for an afternoon of sunshine, touchdowns and smiles. Thanks for the game, and we look forward to redeeming ourselves at the Legend Unified basketball game next year.

Armed Robbery Suspects Arrested Parker Police Officers responded to a local business yesterday afternoon when employees called and said suspects robbed them at knifepoint and assaulted several of them. Officers located the suspect's vehicle traveling north on Parker Road and attempted a traffic stop. The suspects were backing through a gas station parking lot when officers pinned their car. After a short foot pursuit, officers took all three suspects into custody and transported them to the Douglas County Jail. Great work, officers, catching these suspects and sending them to jail!
