Congrats to our Elections Division, which was recently honored by the Election Center for working with Adams and Denver counties to serve voters along their borders! Arapahoe County co-manages several vote centers and ballot boxes that allow voters from any surrounding county to vote their unique ballot, rather than a provisional or statewide ballot that wouldn’t contain contests specific to voters’ precincts. Similarly, voters who return their mail ballot to a co-branded 24-hour ballot drop box can rest assured their ballot will be delivered to their home county. About us
Arapahoe County is Colorado's first county and the third largest in the state with a population of more than 618,000. The County has 13 incorporated communities, including Aurora, Bennett, Bow Mar, Centennial, Cherry Hills Village, Columbine Valley, Deer Trail, Englewood, Foxfield, Glendale, Greenwood Village, Littleton, and Sheridan. Arapahoe County was named for the Arapaho Indians, who along with the Cheyenne Indians, occupied most of Colorado when it was only a territory. An elected, five-member Board of County Commissioners serves as the administrative and policy‐making body. Voters also elect the County Assessor, Clerk and Recorder, Coroner, District Attorney, Sheriff and Treasurer. Arapahoe County has 2,011 employees and a $339.3 million budget. The County has one of the lowest mill levies of counties on Colorado's Front Range. The County Administration Building is located at 5334 S. Prince Street in Littleton, Colorado, but we offer locations throughout Arapahoe County.

Arapahoe County reposted this
South Suburban and project partners broke ground on the Reynolds Landing Park Redevelopment yesterday! 🏗🎉 This groundbreaking comes after four years of coordination between South Suburban, the Mile High Flood District, City of Littleton, Arapahoe County, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, and Colorado's Congressional Delegation. Funders for this project also include Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO), Colorado Parks and Wildlife, and a private donor. While the full project is anticipated to be completed in Spring 2027, we're thrilled to have kicked off the process with partners from all of these awesome organizations! And we thank Breckenridge Brewery for hosting a luncheon to round out today's event! 🙌 Want to learn more about this project? Check out the project page at https://bit.ly/4jMaHmL.
