One month from today, I will be running the New York City Marathon with the Parkinson's Foundation! Through my training and fundraising efforts, I aim to bring awareness to the challenges and symptoms of Parkinson's disease and to support the research of the Parkinson’s Foundation. I am honored to be running in memory of my grandfather, Steve Burne, and for the millions of people battling this neurodegenerative disease. To learn more about the Parkinson's Foundation and to contribute to my fundraising goal, please visit the link below. Thank you for your support!

It's vital for people living with Parkinson's and care partners to make social connections and find support. If you have not found a support group that is the right fit for you, consider starting your own! Building and launching a support group requires planning, organization and attention to detail. The “let’s get started” phase can be overwhelming, but breaking down a big task into smaller tasks can make planning more manageable. We're here to help: https://lnkd.in/gTW8vWQP

Excited to share that we had two abstracts accepted for presentation at the International Congress of Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders. Thanks to all working alongside us to engage the Black and African American community living with PD in patient engagement and research, including our PD GENEration study. And a special thanks to our research advocates - those from the Black and African American community that were trained at our Learning Institute in 2023. They have dedicated their time to becoming community leaders and advocates, not only in their own local communities raising awareness, but also partnering with industry to share their lived experiences, ensuring ALL people have what they need to live a better life with Parkinson’s disease.
