Karen's story is a daunting one, but it is important to understand the very real impact that a negative hospital experience can have on someone with Parkinson's disease. "I share my story not to frighten anyone, but to encourage people with Parkinson’s and their loved ones to advocate for themselves while in the hospital. I will be leading team Magnes AG and walk at the upcoming Moving Day for Parkinson’s Disease in San Francisco. That’ll be to celebrate my father who had the disease. Much research (and therefore money!) is still needed: there’s no definitive test to diagnose the disease and there’s no cure. So please join either in person or by donating.
