On screens where bearings share the same oil/mech tube, when the time comes to change bearings on one side, all bearings sharing the same oil need to be changed. One of our customers was constantly having issues with slabby shot rock falling through their jaw and plugging up chutes and hoppers down stream, specifically over their secondary crusher feeder. At times, they were shutting down several times a day to pick rocks out of chutes. With the expertise of Alf Basson, we applied a custom solution using Paschal MAROON "slab breaker" jaw dies. The different length jaw teeth grab and crush flat slabs that would fall through a traditional set of jaw dies.
