Get to know your hosts! This year’s #ArtForAll Ball celebrates the power of women in the arts. We're thrilled to introduce three extraordinary female powerhouses who will command the stage on November 16th: MC Shaina Shepherd Known for her pervasive style as a soul-grunge frontwoman turned piano songstress, Shaina Shepherd’s performances extend beyond genre. When Shaina isn't in the studio, she is a local community organizer, music educator, and event producer. Shaina is also a member of the PNW chapter of the Recording Academy (Grammys), a member of the Seattle Music Commission, and a member of the board at SMASH. MC Molly Sides is a sound, movement, and film artist whose curiosity and attraction to movement has lead to both wild and tame adventures in live performance and film. Molly is the lead singer of the Seattle-based rock band Thunderpussy. DJ Michele Myers is a producer, programmer, and DJ at KEXP and has also hosted and produced on WNYE in New York City and KALX University of California Berkeley. Michele’s bold mix of beats, rock, global, and soulful music has inspired dance parties weekly on “KEXP Friday Night” and at many live parties. Can't join us in person? In gaming, every day we get to see the role that art plays in how people see themselves in the world and realize their own story. I am honored to support the incredible Path with Art organization that gives low and no income people more opportunities to express themselves artistically. My daughter and I will be showing off handmade fashion originals by Path with Art artists and local designers in the Art for All Ball: reVIBE! fashion show fundraiser on November 16. We are honored to collaborate again with the Mutual Arts Collective (MAC) for a second exhibition titled "Renewal". This show explores themes of vulnerability, acceptance, and growth, showcasing the remarkable talents of six Path with Art Participant Artists. Their works will also be available for purchase. Join us for the opening reception on Monday, October 28, from 6–8 PM at Mutual Arts Collective, located across from Pike Place Market. The MAC gallery and event space was founded by Mike McCready of Pearl Jam, Ashley OConnor McCready, and Chris Adams to uplift community creators and break down barriers to exhibiting and selling art.
