HBS honors the nearly 3,000 lives lost in the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Today, we remember the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of the heroes who emerged that day and in the aftermath. This month, Emily Downs, Annie Evans, and Dawn Serrilli were back on site at Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital to continue prepping for the hospital's first patient day on August 3rd, 2024. As this was the second Mock Move, our team spent time verifying paths of travel in the existing and new facilities and collaborated with the EMS team to validate all logistics to ensure patient safety throughout the patient move. Leaders from both inpatient departments and ancillary services attended the event to provide insight on expected patient acuity and the depth of support required to safely move patients between facilities. Our team feels confident that Lutheran care givers are prepared to support this patient move and provide care in their brand-new facility! We are looking forward to August 3rd!
