Empowering communities to disrupt the cycle of human trafficking through awareness and prevention educational programs.

About us

Paving the Way Foundations mission is to empower communities to end child trafficking and exploitation through powerful, engaging awareness and educational programs. Why? Well according to NCMEC (National Center for Missing and Exploited Children) there were are millions of Child Sexual Abuse Materials cyber tips reported every year. Human trafficking and online child exploitation is one of the most egregious crimes to humanity. It can be hard to comprehend. We understand. It leaves most people asking, who am I to do anything about this tragedy? More importantly, what can I do? Sadly, our children are more at risk than ever. With the ever changing school environment, our kids are spending more time online, leaving them vulnerable. In fact - the average age of enticement is 10-13 years old. Take a breath. There is good news. YOU! and us. YOU can do something about it by educating yourself an those around you. That's why we are here, so you don't have to navigate this alone. Educate. Empower. Prevent. That's our goal Paving The Way Foundation has educated over 25,000 youth, parents, teachers, and community leaders about exploitation and trafficking, the impact it has on families, our communities and the actions to take to prevent it. We invite you to partner with us to disrupt the cycle and keep our children safe. Invite us to come educate and empower your students, parents, youth leaders and the faith based community. Together, we can make a difference and end child exploitation.

  • Save the Date! Join @PavingW for our Lights on for Children event on November 9th from 5:30 to 8:30 pm EST at The Pavilion at Avalon Park. 🌟 Help us raise awareness about child trafficking and funds to educate and empower youth against exploitation. A donation will help us gather the supplies needed for our trainings! Can't make it in person? You can still participate! 💡 Buy blue light bulbs, share with at least 5 neighbors, and turn them on at dusk on 11/20 for Universal Children’s Day. • Back-to-school season can be hectic for parents. To maintain your mental health, start by establishing routines early and integrating self-care into your schedule. Set realistic expectations and focus on gradual progress rather than perfection. Communicate openly with your family to share responsibilities and reduce misunderstandings. Seek help from family or friends to share tasks, and stay positive by celebrating small victories. Set boundaries to limit stress and dedicate time for relaxation. Incorporate mindfulness practices, like meditation or deep breathing, to stay grounded. By taking these simple and proactive steps, you’ll be better prepared to handle the back-to-school rush and support your family. #empower #prevent #educate #pavingthewayfoundation #PTWF Parent Tool Kit: https://lght.ly/bj40efn Our Website: https://lght.ly/nha94fc

  • Donating school supplies is a meaningful way to support students and schools in your community. To make your donation impactful, start by identifying a recipient. Reach out to local community centers, schools, or nonprofits that accept school supplies. Many schools host supply drives or partner with organizations that collect these items. Next, check what supplies are needed. Contact the recipient organizations to find out their current needs, which often include notebooks, pencils, pens, backpacks, markers, and calculators. Be intentional with your donations. Instead of giving away items you have lying around, focus on what students genuinely need and ensure that the supplies are in good condition. If you wish to have a greater impact, consider organizing a school supply drive within your community, workplace, or among friends and family. Additionally, take advantage of online platforms where some organizations maintain wish lists or donation options, allowing you to purchase and ship supplies directly. Finally, remember that many organizations also need assistance with sorting and distributing supplies, so consider volunteering your time to complement your donations. #empower #prevent #educate #pavingthewayfoundation #PTWF Parent Tool Kit: https://lght.ly/lljfl2p Our Website: https://lght.ly/ehibe4c

  • August is Back to School Month! Changing schools is a common experience, so you're not alone. To help make this transition smoother for you and your child while supporting their mental health, we've put together some helpful tips for the new school year. To support your child’s mental health during this transition, start by discussing their feelings and validating their emotions, which helps them feel heard and supported. Establishing a consistent routine, such as regular drop-offs and pick-ups, can provide a sense of stability. Encourage your child to participate in school events or clubs to make new friends and feel more connected. You can even join them in participating in activities at their school to show them a positive example! Keep an eye on their mental health and create an open, judgment-free environment at home. Change can be hard, but your child can do well at their new school if you are patient, understanding, and there for them. Remember that moving schools is normal, but can bring up a lot of intense emotions. Switching schools can be a good experience with the right help.
