  • Schedule your blood donor appointment today! https://lnkd.in/gvXeAspM Imagine the profound impact we could make if each of us committed to the simple yet extraordinary act of donating blood not just once, but twice in the upcoming year. Let's embrace the spirit of generosity and compassion by pledging to donate "one more in '24." Every drop of blood donated has the potential to save lives, and by making this commitment, you are doubling your positive influence on those in need. Your decision to give twice reflects an unwavering dedication to the well-being of others and ensures a more robust and resilient blood supply for our communities. Let's unite in the collective power of giving, proving that the act of selflessness knows no bounds. Together, we can create a ripple effect of kindness, embodying the principle that giving is not just great—it's exceptional, and giving twice is a testament to the boundless impact we can achieve as a compassionate society.

  • The Pella Regional Health Center Auxiliary is having a Uniform Scrub Sale TODAY Tuesday, September 10 from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm and the community is invited to stop by to browse a large selection of merchandise at affordable prices from Emerson’s At the Willow, Mason City, Iowa. And the best part is, your purchases help the Pella Regional Auxiliary support the mission of the hospital to deliver healthcare with Christian compassion, right here in our community. Fundraisers like this allow the Auxiliary to make significant donations to Pella Regional Health Center, meeting various needs for departments throughout the facility. This year more than $10,700 supported projects and equipment including automatic vitals machines for Pain Management and Walk-in Clinics, a vein finder device for laboratory, swaddle sacks for the Family Birthing Center and support for therapeutic tools for Pella Regional Rehabilitation Services.

  • Thanks so much to our amazing Pella in Pink 2024 event sponsors! Your sponsorship not only allows us to put on a great and meaningful event, but also contributes to the Women's Health Fund at Pella Regional Health Center, creating opportunity for advancement. We have been blown away by the support this year! Not only are these great partners sponsoring the event through their monetary donations, but many others are contributing to the cause in other ways as we seek to paint Pella PINK this October. You will see PINK window displays, discounts on PINK items, special PINK drinks, treats and products, PINK ribbons on service vehicles, all with the goal of letting the ladies know how loved and supported they are while also serving as that friendly reminder to be proactive about their healthcare. Please reach out to see how your business or organization can join in! Jenny Hesseltine, Foundation Coordinator jhesseltine@pellahealth.org.
