    *A condensed version of this post originally appeared in our December company newsletter   2022 will go down as one of the toughest years in history that HR, Talent and Recruiting professionals have had to navigate.   Companies that did not adapt to the unprecedented realities were unable to compete and make quality hires, as candidates quickly received multiple job offers followed by large counteroffers to stay in their current roles.   As a management consulting firm delivering a suite of professional services, we successfully guided both candidates and clients through this challenging year.   Overall, our small but mighty team advised with management teams on culture and people operations and also completed 300+ hires for our partners such as Dow Jones, Tory Burch, HelloFresh, dentsu, Omnicom Media Group, WPP, FuboTV, HarbourView Equity Partners, Big Village, EMX by Big Village, Stylitics, NPPG and several others.   The key takeaways from 2022 – and a few are eye-opening…   o  At year end we calculated our partners received a greater than 400% savings when compared to utilizing transactional fee-based staffing firms.   o  Calculating further, we found that in almost all cases our services were delivered for less than the total cost of hiring in-house, salaried talent and recruiting employees.   o  We are most proud of the fact that our model has disrupted the archaic system of charging a transaction fee to every hire.   o  Attaching a huge transaction fee to a human being’s career mobility impacts both candidates and companies in a negative manner.   o  Our entire team is on a mission to ensure that “Headhunting” as a model will be discarded completely.    o  Our 5-year CAGR now stands at 88.13%   Every year is different than the last and we are optimistic about 2023.
